12 gru 2017 · Push social as hard as you can, first on the left side of the tree for research speed and then the right side of the tree for Enlightment. The benefits to your economy from the Entlightment technologies far outweigh the survivablity benfits from the military tree.

Research takes place constantly, but the rate at which discoveries occur can be increased by using heroes to spy or building additional research buildings at your settlements.
You will have to balance your research efforts between the three trees so that you can have a powerful empire. Having multiple universities will help you diversify your research and to beat the AI to some techs which will increase your Prestige Rating.
