Our favorite park in San Antonio. As far as Hill Country hiking goes, this place is it, and only minutes away. Great views of the city. Fun tower to watch the sunrise/sunset from. Venturing off on the unpaved trails you'll feel miles away from civilization. You can put together a nice 3.5 mile loop for training runs/hikes/whatever.

I really like Eisenhower Park because it is a little challenging and a pretty long walk. It might be a little over 3 miles and with detours I'm sure you can go a little farther. It feels safe enough to walk alone because there are always other hikers on the trails. The childrens park has a rock climbing wall.
