To see listings with local pickup, select Free local pickup on the left-hand side of the search results page when you’re searching for items on eBay. You can also use Advanced search to filter your search results for local pickup listings only.

I usually turn on the local pick-up option on all my listings. Because I don’t mind meeting somebody nearby to save us both a bit of money. However, the only two times I’ve had buyers choose this option, I’ve had to cancel the order because the buyer didn’t realize what they were doing.
The buyer will have a QR code. When they collect and have paid, you scan the QR code, and this tells ebay you`ve been paid and that the buyer has collected the item. Ebay will then send you a bill for the fees.
You can also offer local pickup in addition to other postage options. Select Offer additional service, then select Local pickup from the bottom of the drop-down list. Payment options for local pickup. In your payment options, select Pay on pickup and any other payment methods you'd like to accept.
