East Side Baptist Church first began in couples home in Memphis (The Bomprezzis). This small group of 18 believers soon called Teddy Steele to be their first official Pastor, on March 5, 1972. Over time The Lord began to grow East Side Baptist in great ways, both in numbers and outreach.
Everything we do at East Side is focused and intentional. Join us for Starting Point - a place to discover more about our church family, where we are headed, and your place in the local church and in life. All of this and more is what makes East Side unique.
