22 lis 2023 · Dynamic range is the difference between the quietest and loudest sounds in an audio system without distortion. It indicates the amount of volume variation (dynamics) in audio. The larger the dynamic range, the more contrast you’ll hear between the quietest and loudest parts.
Dynamic range is, to put it simply, your usable range of hearing. It is the amount of decibels (dB) from the softest sound you can hear (your hearing threshold) to where sound is painfully loud (uncomfortable loudness level).
