17 lip 2017 · Injecting the Programs into the DOS Boot Disk. Open the DOS 6.22 boot floppy disk using WinImage. Select Image > Change Format, and increase the size of the boot disk to 2.88 MB - this will give you the space you'll need to inject your programs into it.
Microsoft DOS 6.22 was the last standalone version from Microsoft. It was also the last from Microsoft to run on an 8088, 8086, or 286. 6.22 adds DriveSpace, a replacement for DOS 6.20's DoubleSpace drive compression that was removed in 6.21.
