11 lis 2022 · Don't Worry Darling is bafflingly presented as a paranoia thriller even though the audience knows the world isn't what it appears to be. I'm not sure if that's on the writer or director or both, but it sinks the movie.
We don’t know what Jack did/does IRL, but chances are he isn’t a surgeon. He feels emasculated because Alice holds a higher social status than he, etc. Frank and the Victory Project offer him the opportunity to restore the balance as the men in the Project deem correct.

26 lis 2022 · Reading that it had been somewhat watered down from the original Van Dyke brothers story is a shame, especially regarding the Jack character. If the movie had gone there, maybe it would've been better. But right now, I don't see really any flaws in the movie.

9 sty 2023 · I haven't seen Don't Worry Darling, but from everything I heard and read about it, you might like The Stepford Wives. I think the version from '75 is considered the better one, but I think there's also an earlier version and I know for sure they've remade it in the early 2000s with Nicole Kidman.
I love the mind bendiness of it, along with the plot twists and the time setting of it. I love sci-fi movies and have already watched the following…
