Overview. This is a general description of the benefits available to members with Package A (Standard Plan or Full Medicaid) and Package C. Package A is a full-service plan for children and pregnant individuals. Members do not have any cost-sharing obligations.

If Medicaid doesn’t cover your orthodontic treatment, there are other ways to get free or reduced-cost braces.
Some dental insurances offer up to 50% coverage for orthodontic treatment, which can significantly reduce out-of-pocket monthly costs for treatment. In some cases, Medicaid offers coverage for braces when deemed medically necessary. Check with your insurance provider to see your orthodontic coverage.
