The barrel is chrome lined (uncommon with 9mm AR barrels) and features a wide radius feed ramp. A neat thing is the rear sight is the correct 9mm variant, marked for 50m on the open setting. Fit and finish of the front assembly is much better than the Garrison Mfg/ADCO I used to have.
29 gru 2014 · Picked up a DOE 9mm frontend including the Barrel, Hand guard, Delta Ring, Barrel nut, Front sight, Port door and case deflector. Which type of upper would be correct and what am I going to need to complete a firing lower?
3 maj 2020 · Sherluck makes the front sight parts and the handguards, and the prices are reasonable. The parts are nice but some of tolerances are a bit loose. It doesn't take much to fix them up.
20 paź 2018 · With the help of this forum, I found the Garrison reproduction Front sight assembly and handguard-its a one piece unit. I sent the upper and the parts to John Thomas at Retro Arms Works. In a freakishly fast turnaround, it arrived back.
