Getting to Kailua Beach Park. You really should consider renting a car, when visiting Kailua Beach. Riding the bus can take up to 90 minutes with three different Oahu Bus transfers, starting from Waikiki. Driving your own rental car should only take 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
