New York City Health Department clinics offer patients sexual health, immunization and tuberculosis (TB) services, regardless of immigration status. If you do not have health insurance and cannot pay the fee, you can still get services.
NYC is organized into 30 health districts (sometimes referred to as health center districts), themselves composed of 354 health areas which are sets of census tracts. NYC is also organized into 17 mental health regions .
You can make an appointment for a free COVID-19 test at the Health Department's COVID Express site. The clinic is located at 1218 Prospect Place in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Test results are available within 24 hours of your visit when testing occurs between Monday and Thursday.
