Fritts is one of the few anglers to win both a Forrest Wood Cup Championship and a Bassmaster Classic. His most recent win came in 2009 at Lake Guntersville. Fritts cites Lake Eufaula as his favorite place to fish because of it’s abundance of structure.
David Fritts. In the mid-1990s, David Fritts was revered throughout central North Carolina as the King of the Yadkin. He was known nationally as the crankbait guru who won the 1993 Bassmaster Classic on Logan Martin Lake in Alabama, and the Bassmaster Angler of the Year title the following year.
