DAMAGEPLAN was a shortlived groove metal act formed by former PANTERA members Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell in 2003. The band released the "New Found Power" debut full-length studio album in February 2004.

The pair recruited former Halford guitarist Patrick Lachman on vocals, and later Bob Zilla on bass. Damageplan released New Found Power, their only album, in February 2004. New Found Power debuted at number 38 on the Billboard 200, selling 44,676 copies in its first week.

Damageplan was a groove metal band formed in 2003 by brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott after the demise of their previous band, Pantera. The band ended after Dimebag was murdered in December of 2004.
