22 sie 2006 · There is interest in the AR-15 community in .22 LR conversions. Many use a new bolt adopter but the .223 barrel twist doesn't make for accuracy. The answer that works best is a dedicated .22 upper.

13 cze 2020 · Plain configuration, 12 1/2" barrel, not threaded. Sights are a pop up rear & a standard AR front assembly. Initially it will be used with an M4 spec lower, the plan is to get a MFT Minimalist stock instead & some sort of rubber pistol grip.

29 paź 2008 · I have the cz v22 and it works very well with blazers and minimags. Also works well with quickshocks. What mags do you have? The blackdog machine from conversion caliber supply are the ones to get, work great and are rebuildable and cleanable. Factory mags are worthless.
22 sie 2013 · A lot of 22 uppers do not like notched hammers as the notch can snag on the bottom rear of the bolt. If the bolt drags on the notch it can slow or impede the bolt enough to impair extraction. Three friends of mine have this upper and they tend to function best with high velocity ammo.

10 lut 2009 · This weekend, I picked up a CZ V-22 designated .22 LR AR-15 upper Receiver. I've tried a couple conversions (M261) and wasn't very happy with accuracy and reliability. I found this upper (that's not being imported anymore) and thought I'd give it a try....22 is much cheaper to shoot than .223/5.56...
