8 lut 2024 · Hello, just want to spread the word to as many people as possible especially those that are not active on the two major Sims 4 discord servers. Some asshole pretending to be PimpMySims and MSQSIMS keeps uploading files that we have found to have harmful content with the potential of giving your computer a virus.
26 maj 2023 · I’m new to mods with the Sims 4, and have been using Curseforge as my main place to download mods due to how easy, efficient and safe it is. However, my mods folder is very chaotic and I’d like to organise it more effectively, if in the event that some of my mods break my game and it’d be easy to identify which mods are causing me issues.
22 maj 2023 · My sims 4 mods were automatically stored in OneDrive, where I did not want them, so I moved them on to my local drive. CurseForge has stopped recognizing the folder, and I can't seem to change it manually. How can I get CurseForge to find my Sims 4 Mods folder without having to move the Electronic Arts folder back to OneDrive?
15 lis 2022 · looking through the sims part of their site though they have done a very good job at making it better for the sims 4. I think the point of this mainly was to have an EA approved space to display mods that are safe to use after the doxing scandal (if you don't know about that certain CC makers got caught sharing personal information about patreons they thought were sharing their content.).
21 gru 2022 · I didn’t have any issues with curseforge and the one mod I thought I was downloading. I downloaded it and it was actually a mod to change the language to another mod. That’s my fault. But I use curseforge for WoW and have no issues with them going to the correct spot.

31 sty 2023 · I'm recommending against curseforge(for The Sims 4) because I'm old and it's new. The curseforge website is great(for TS4) the app is not. Sims 4 super users have 10k+ files in their mods folder. They have to manage them manually. Curseforge can't help them with that. The website is fine and safe. The app might be good for other games.
8 gru 2022 · Usually for mods we have to go to websites and download manually to add to our mod folders. I noticed the other day that CurseForge, a popular mod manager used for other games like WoW and Minecraft are also supporting mods for the Sims now. They don't have a lot of the popular mods, but I'm sure they'll end up there eventually.
I use CurseForge for World of Warcraft, so I was excited for it with Sims 4. But I can't figure out how it works with Sims 4. It doesn't appear on the app and I can't seem to download anything from the browser. So, I just continue to not use mods and cc. I think it's annoying that it's not as straightforward as it is with WoW.
31 sty 2023 · Curseforge has a lot of work to do when it comes to the sims 4 mods, and I think in time it can be great. It's a big transition because for yeeeeeeeears, installing mods on the sims has been all manual and we just got used to it, creators and consumers alike.
