23 kwi 2011 · If the fan is working (spinning fast) but it still overheats, then suspect another problem like the heatsnk is not attched to the CPU properly or needs to be removed, cleaned, new thermal paste applied and reinstalled.

24 kwi 2013 · All modern laptops will have fans which can be monitored for speed based on system usage and temperature. The fact that your system does not report the fans to other apps indicates either a software or a hardware issue. Either way, you should update your BIOS and mainboard drivers and try SpeedFan again.
Please ensure the fan metal case is not bent and ensure the fan is properly mounted. If this doesn’t solve your problem, your new fan is defective.
