30 maj 2020 · The City of Moxee lies east of the Yakima River in Yakima County between Rattle Snake and Yakima mountains. Long part of the Yakama Tribe's homeland, the Moxee area was temporarily the site of a Catholic mission to the Yakamas. Permanent non-Native settlement began in the 1860s, and Moxee was founded in 1867.
