Cut and Shoot is a city in eastern Montgomery County, Texas, United States, about 6 mi (9.7 km) east of Conroe and 40 mi (64 km) north of Houston. Until 2006, Cut and Shoot was considered and called a town.

21 wrz 2023 · Cut and Shoot (Cut 'n Shoot, Cut N Shoot) is six miles east of Conroe and forty miles north of Houston in eastern Montgomery County. It was apparently named after a 1912 community confrontation that almost led to violence.
27 maj 2024 · The small town acquired its name in July 1912. According to information from the city taken from “A History of Montgomery County, Texas” by William Harley Gandy, that year, a combination church and schoolhouse, called the Community House, was built.
