Carew Tower is a 49- story, 574-foot (175 m) Art Deco building completed in 1931 [8] in the heart of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, overlooking the Ohio River waterfront. The structure is the second-tallest building in the city, and it was added to the register of National Historic Landmarks on April 19, 1994.
The Arcade evokes the heyday of bustling downtowns with its Art Deco stylings and vintage Rookwood Pottery tiling, while Tower Place Mall provides a modern feeling with an open three-story atrium and bustling food court.

26 gru 2012 · This is an interesting mall because of it's location in downtown Cincinnati, which has seen a lot of re-investment in the past few years. I think it would be interesting to do a case study on this mall's history because it isn't in the suburbs, and because of how much is going on around it.
This was the location of Cincinnati’s Tower Place Mall. It was awesome and started dying around 2005 or so. Most of the mall was in an open center ‘tower’ that is now a parking garage. I spent many a lunch break there from 2000-2005 and dearly miss it’s unique flavor.
13 sie 2013 · Just a short primer for anybody not familiar with the Tower Place Mall, it was built as a downtown Cincinnati shopping center in the mid-90's, connected to the Carew Tower and Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel.
