13 gru 2011 · Replied on February 14, 2010. You don't need to worry about this. Since the installation media was provided by Dell, the Product Code is one from Dell's volume license. Normally when you install using Dell media you don't need to enter a Product Key during installation anyway.
Enter slmgr /upk and wait for this to complete. This will uninstall the current product key from Windows and put it into an unlicensed state. Enter slmgr /cpky and wait for this to complete. This will remove the product key from the registry if it's still there.
