Certified General Accountant (CGA) is a professional designation granted to Canadian accountants. A person who meets the education, experience and examination requirements of the Certified General Accountants of Canada (CGA-Canada) is entitled to use the professional designation and add the letters "CGA" to their title.
Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia (CGA-BC) Writer. As the province’s largest professional accounting association, CGA-BC represents nearly 15,000 CGAs and students. Members work in industry, commerce, government and in public practice.
Now that CPA legislation has been proclaimed in BC, how should I display my designation? Members must use CPA, accompanied by their legacy designation until June 24, 2025. This means your credential must be listed as “CPA, CA”; “CPA, CGA ”; or “CPA, CMA”
