Leading the Malaysian Sugar Industry Since 1965 . Formerly known as the United Malay State Sugar Industries (UMSSI), Central Sugar Refinery Sdn. Bhd. (CSR) started off in Batu Tiga, Shah Alam in 1965 and incorporated in 1983.
In 1983, we were incorporated as Central Sugars Refinery Sdn. Bhd. (CSR), becoming the beloved household choice for sugar products you know today. Awarded SIRIM product certification for our white refined sugars for general and Industrial use in 1992.
