Some 62,700 students sat the Leaving Cert in June but 83,500 applied to the CAO this year – more than half of whom were offered their first choice when Round One happened two weeks ago.
Leaving Certificate Applicants (1985 – 2023) If you sat the Leaving Certificate in a prior year (i.e. 1985 – 2023), check that this information is recorded correctly on your account. To view your Leaving Certificate examination number and results data: Log in to your CAO account and go to the Qualifications and Assessments section.
