28 mar 2014 · A likely much simpler and safer hack would be to use 12V to 170V DC-DC step-up converters and feed that to a conventional PSU the normal way, then your PC components should be about as safe as they would be on regular AC. Some universal-input PC PSUs will operate on less than 100VDC.
