This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
1 sie 2009 · The Cadet STF is a replica of the very popular Culver Cadet of the early 1940s; however, this new version of the Cadet has done away with some of the inherent long-term frailties that were found to affect the original. The most notable improvement is the steel tube fuselage (STF) structure.
The production 2-place low wing Cadet was powered by a 75hp Continental engine and cruised at 120mph, with a top speed of 175 MPH. After much design and analysis, Neal La France offered plans for a homebuilt version of the Cadet. The Cadet STF features a steel tube, fabric covered fuselage instead of the production wood fuselage.
