And if you’re renting long-term (i.e. more than a month), look specifically for those companies, like Lion City.

  6. You can try dreamcar rental, they are very transparent with their pricing, allows p-plate drivers and extremely good customer service. I rented my first car a week after i got my license with them and the process was super easy.

  7. I really wouldn't hire a car for S'pore. You can get pretty nearly anywhere on the MRT - which is absolutely efficient, reasonably priced & very user-friendly. (Puts the London underground to shame!!)
