12 lis 2018 · Yes, you can use silicone molds to make hard candy or lollipops, as long as they are heat safe (some aren’t!). Make sure you check the labels – they should be heat safe to 350+ degrees. This set would work for fun shapes and this set would work for suckers.
30 sty 2024 · Once the hard candies have cooled fully - you can remove them from their molds or break them into pieces and store your homemade candy in an airtight container. This way, the candy will remain fresh and tasty for a longer period of time.
If using molds, you may also want to spray a piece of aluminum foil with cooking spray. If after pouring the syrup into the molds you have excess candy, you can pour it onto the foil for break-up candy. In a heavy (good quality) 2-quart saucepan, mix together sugar, corn syrup and water.
