BG3 Mod Manager works perfectly well and has never caused any issues for anyone. Meanwhile, comment sections on some mods are filled with Vortex users having problems with the way the software handles those mods. I'm reading those basically every day. Or users wishing for a modder to add a Vortex install option.
29 lut 2024 · I'm pretty sure I put it on my desktop. Check Preferences for correct Drive letter under Settings -> Preferences (4) Download mod. File -> Import mod (1) Move mod from right side to left side. -> Leave Honour & Dice_06 on the right: they are Larian files. Make sure "parent" mods are listed above a mod from the same group (2)
If you are new to modding and aren't comfortable with your debugging skills, I recommend sticking to BG's mod manager. Not because it's any more or less intuitive (they're about the same imo) but because you'll have more community support (or even mod author support) if you get stuck. Plus, Vortex and BG3 manager aren't big applications.
They're the Larian files. Honour Mode is loaded into the game like a mod because it changes the game (passives are changed, etc) and you want to keep it inactive because the game (if you choose Honour Mode) makes it active in-game. The tactician health plus mod did not work for me in honor mode until I moved the honor mod into the active mods ...
As a long-term user of Vortex for multiple different games: BG3MM is better. you want BG3MM for managing your load order, Vortex is unreliable in that area. if you're an experienced modder you can use Vortex to manage your library and use the autoupdate function, and then use BGMM to create and export your load order, that's what I do since ...
A very easy and quick way to install the basic, no console version of BG3SE is to go into BG3 Mod Manager, select the Tools tab in the top left, select Download & Install the Script Extender, and then click yes on the pop up window asking if you'd like to download it. That's it, you're done.
15 wrz 2023 · BUT: the BG3 mod manager is super simple and works well. I've used MO for a lot of the Beth games, but it's overkill for BG3. Learning to use the BG3 MM is super easy and fast, so I'd strongly recommend it.
11 sie 2023 · I’d go with BG3 Mod Manager. You can easily drag your mods to disable and save the clean load order. However, note any mods that ask you to place things in your ‘data’ folder do not get disabled as BG3 doesn’t handle loose files.

If it's some textures/meshes you have to select "BG3 Replacer". If it's a file in a /bin/ folder (like Native Camera Teaks ), you have to select "Engine Injector" and then click on "Deploy" on the notification. 1.
27 lis 2023 · Instead I have to run it through BG3 mod manager. THE problem i'm having though is that when I have my mods enabled on vortex, and I go on Bg3 mod manager, all my downloaded vortex mods appear in the bg3 mod manager app ONLY when I have them enabled on Vortex. BUTTTT some of em appear on the bottom left underneath the Override section.
