Retrosheet provides the originally planned schedules for each major league season from 1877 through 2023, with postponements and makeup dates. The schedules are in parallel format and can be downloaded as zip archives.
David W. Smith (born March 17, 1948) is an American microbiologist, baseball historian and analyst, and statistician. He is best known as the founder of Retrosheet, a volunteer organization whose mission is to collect, digitize, and distribute play-by-play accounts from every game in Major League Baseball history.
