This season our ballet company treats its audiences to two new ballet productions: Clug's Peer Gynt set to music by Grieg and Pastor's Prometheus with a score combining Glass and Mozart pieces, while revivals include Neumeier's The Lady of the Camellias danced to Chopin's music.. BalletMet operates a dance academy that instructs about 1,500 students of all ages yearly. Classes offered include ballet, tap, modern, and Pilates. The current Academy Director is Maria Torija, a former professional dancer with Berlin State Ballet.
