24 lis 2014 · Average per month" or ("average monthly") and "monthly average" (or "monthly mean") have different meanings. Rather than speak about the "Average per month" it would be clearer to use "average cost per month". It can be used and calculated as follows:

23 paź 2011 · An "average" person is a normal person BY DEFINITION. "Normal" means "close to" average (in statistics), but plus or minus. It is this "plus or minus" part that allows "normal" to be NOT average. Even so, it would mean that the deviation from average is a "normal" or usual amount, and not "way out."
14 mar 2017 · Although use of "average over" in situations like the one you ask about seems to have grown somewhat more common in recent decades, and although I have noticed a rise in the popularity of "average across" in articles that I've edited in the past couple of years, these two forms are still nowhere near as common as "average of."

I don't have any issues at all. dictionary.com reports that the origin of joe to mean coffee is 1840-1850. As I thought I reached that page through a link on Etymonline (which is not what I did), I found interesting Etymonline would report a date, and have a link to a page that reports a different date.
