The American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) is an art museum located in Baltimore, Maryland's Federal Hill neighborhood at 800 Key Highway. The museum specializes in the preservation and display of outsider art (also known as "intuitive art," "raw art," or "art brut").
The American Visionary Art Museum is located at 800 Key Highway, Baltimore, MD next to Federal Hill Park and the Inner Harbor. PARKING. Abundant metered parking, which is also handicapped accessible, is available on Covington Street and Key Highway. Please note that the meters are in effect 24 hours, 7 days a week.

This is a must do in Baltimore! It was inexpensive (only $10 for an adult) and simply incredible. The variety of artwork and styles was incredible. The playfulness and bright colors of the space and artwork was attractive. We spent almost 2 hours walking through (including the sculpture garden and looking at the outside of the building).
