All yellow pages directories published by AT&T became published under the AT&T Real Yellow Pages name. YELLOWPAGES.com LLC. became part of AT&T Interactive, following the AT&T acquisition of Bellsouth in 2006. YELLOWPAGES.com, rebranded as YP.com in 2009, as an Internet web site operated by YP.
Each company had its own online Yellow Pages: BellSouth owned RealPages.com and SBC owned SmartPages.com. The two sites effectively merged into the newly acquired YellowPages.com. In 2005, SBC acquired AT&T and took on the stronger AT&T brand.
It was renamed in 2006 to the current AT&T Advertising, L.P. Pacific Bell Directory still exists today to serve as the directory publisher of the AT&T Real Yellow Pages for Pacific Bell and Nevada Bell customers. In 2012, Pacific Bell Directory was spun off as part of the AT&T-Cerberus joint venture YP Holdings.
