The current division of Apachean groups includes the Western Apache, Yavapai, Coyotero, Aravaipa, Mojaves, Chiricahua, Tontos, Bylas, San Carlos, Mescalero, Jicarilla, Lipan and Plains Apache (formerly Kiowa-Apache).
