In the District of Columbia, you may be eligible for the DC Healthy Families Program if you are: A low-income childless adult up to age 64, a parent/caretaker relative, a child up to age 21, or a pregnant woman eligible for Medicaid; A foster care enrollee who decides to remain in this program

Help our members prepare to renew their Medicaid healthcare coverage and benefits by educating them on what documents are needed to ensure their renewal form is completed accurately. Members can submit their renewal form via web (preferred), phone, fax, mail, or in person.

DC Healthy Families is a program that provides free health insurance to DC residents who meet certain income and U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status to qualify for DC Medicaid. The DC Healthy Families program covers doctor visits, vision and dental care, prescription drugs, hospital stays, and transportation for appointments.
