General information: When installing Allure SPC Collection flooring, always use best practices and follow the applicable standards for the installation of floorcoverings, such as BS 8203 in the UK and VOB, Part C, DIN 18365 in Germany and all other relevant European, national and local standards.
Determine the direction that the flooring will be installed. Installation parallel to the longest wall is recommended for best visual effects. Because houses and buildings, as well as adjacent hardwood or laminate floors, expand and contract, we recommend leaving a ¼” expansion gap between the perimeter walls and any adjacent hardwood floor.
