Click the Ports tab and clear the box for port "COM1." Next, scroll down and select "Documents\*.pdf" (the description will show "Adobe PDF").

I'll try to disable automatic updates from Adobe Acrobat. This could be good enough in our case. So we will install them manually, if needed.

Select Printer 'Adobe PDF', then click Print Options, click Properties, and untick 'Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts'. 16 sty 2023 · Hi Matt, I had the same issue as you. I am using Word. Here is what I did to solve it. Go to Print and select the Adobe PDF as printer. Then select Printer Properties. On the Adobe PDF Settings tab, uncheck the "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" box. 31 Upvotes.
