When the DTC display activated the ABS warning light will blink. The code is a Double-digit display. By counting the number of times the ABS warning light flashes, the DTC code can be determine. See the table below for the DTC descriptions.
18 maj 2018 · The ABS Warning Lamp will automatically turn Off if the fault that caused the DTC to set is cleared. To troubleshoot the ABS run the flash code diagnostic or use a scan tool that can read Rodeo ABS codes. A common Rodeo code is DTC 53/63 caused by an intermittent open circuit in the rear ABS sensor wiring.
8 lis 2017 · I've got an ABS Warning Light that keeps coming on. I tried jumping ports 4 and 12 on the code reader interface but it did not work. The ABS light just turned off after a couple seconds. I've taken it to multiple brake shops and auto parts stores and regular code readers won't read the ABS codes.
30 maj 2014 · The open circuit causes the ABS to be disabled resulting in the ABS warning lamp being illuminated. Once the circuit is no longer open, the ABS warning lamp is turned Off next ignition cycle when the vehicle speed is greater than approximately 9mph.
20 cze 2007 · Having issues with tracking down a couple of troubles codes for my abs system. 1st code: 51 (FL Open or Shorted sensor) 2nd code: 53 (Rear Open or Shorted sensor)
When the ABS light is on, this is a problem in the Anti-Lock braking system. A common fail item associated with this, is a faulty Wheel Speed Sensor (aka ABS Sensor). However, on this vehicle, there are 3 of them- 2 at each front wheel, and one on the rear differential.
Customer: please advise how to reset the abs light on a isuzu rodeo . the sensor was the problem and has now been replaced but the light will not reset. Answered by Greg in 15 mins 11 years ago.
