27 lut 2009 · The problem with Chevy transmission ID is there's OE names and after-market names. The 700R4 and the 4L60 are the same transmission. GM came out with their new designator so the old 700 is now called 4L60.

I have a 95 Chevy G20 305 w/120k. About a week ago I pulled away from a stop light and the trans felt like it droped into second gear. Not a smooth shift but a shift like I took my foot off the gas and it fell into gear.
31 sty 2014 · The trucks seems to "Buck" or jerk a little, right around 50-60 mph. The truck seems to shift through all the gears just fine, but when accelerating or driving a steady speed in the 50-60 mph range I notice the bucking. It seems to be getting worse as time goes on.
