13 kwi 2011 · With a 5 speed, 3.55s, factory sized tires at 60+ psi, driving, at most, the speed limit, I can net 24 mpg. Not too bad on a 17 year old truck. Regular cab, lwb, 2wd, weighs right at 6k with 38 gallons of fuel and me in the truck.

26 maj 2021 · 7.3 Horsepower/Torque. Power levels in the 7.3 Powerstroke started out at 215 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque for the 1994.5-1995 model years and were bumped up to 225 hp and 450 lb-ft for 1996-1997. It is no coincidence that these numbers were slightly higher than the 6BT of the same era.
25 mar 2011 · I have had not one but three very special fuel economy tunes on my truck. Result 0.7 MPG improvement over stock. There's a whole lot more MPG improvement to be had from ditching the big tires & lift and cleaning up your aerodynamics.
9 sie 2015 · I'm looking at buying a 7.3L, crew cab, 4x4, and am curious what's the best mileage I can expect from the truck stock and chipped? I live in Utah, but will be frequently traveling through the mountains down to Denver.
The 7.3L Power Stroke is a 90 degree, 8 cylinder vee configuration engine with a 4.11 inch cylinder bore and 4.18 inch stroke length, resulting in a bore-stroke ratio of a marginally undersquare 0.98. The parent bore (unlined) engine block is produced from cast iron, as are its cylinder heads.
