11 lip 2023 · As part of the review process, we’ll spend time using both of the latest generation consoles to determine how suitable the TV is for 4K 120Hz gaming, taking on board its compatibility with Variable Refresh Rate, Auto Low Latency Mode and other HDMI 2.1 specifications, along with a measurement for the input lag at both 4K 60Hz and 1080 120Hz and its suitability for HDR images.
20 sie 2023 · The screen would work at 60hz but display “no signal” at 120hz. The LG support agent I spoke with told me the tv did not support DP USB-C -> HDMI 4K@120hz, so I returned the TV. My Samsung TV seems to handle it just fine with the same cable and PC, but it’s the wrong size to use as a monitor so it stays in my living room.
8 cze 2022 · 120hz TV's will be more premium models, so will offer superior picture quality compared to their 60hz counterparts. So if you are going to do it, get a mid-high end set so it will last you. If you have a PS4 and a Series S, I would recommend you don't bother upgrading your TV until it breaks.
4k 120Hz TV allowing only 60Hz. Hi, My i9 13900K, 32GB RAM, 2+1 TB M.2 NVME, RTX 4090 finally arrived last week. My primary work monitor is a Ultra Wide 34" monitor which I have connected to the DP1 port on the RTX 4090. It works great for work and gaming at 3440 x 1440 and 100Hz at ULTRA graphics settings on all games I have played yet.
I grew up playing games on a black and white TV and went through all the refresh rates and the more frames the better. To OP, if you have a good 4K TV then 1080p 120 will look and run great. Edit: If you don't have the tech then you just don't know. No amount of downvotes will change the truth and fact of the matter.
30 kwi 2024 · The only way I could get 4k 120hz was to hook uip my PC directly to the TV, but that sort of defeats the purpose of using moonlight for me if I need the PC directly connected rather than on my network. I have 82" LG C2 and I have installed Moonlight on it. It works with almost 0 lag.
29 lip 2023 · To begin with, you won’t be doing any kind of meaningful Xbox Series X gaming without HDMI 2.1, so that’s the main place to start. TVs with HDMI 2.1-friendly features, such as high refresh rates of 120Hz at 4K, VRR (Variable Refresh Rates) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) are a must to be on the lookout for.

10 gru 2021 · The Q70/Q70A sucks and it’s not recommend on this sub. This tv is also used as a monitor and is the second best monitor rated by Rtings to use. Yes it’s OLED, but it’s specifically great to use as a monitor without burn in risk. It’s 120hz native and most of all works with nvidia Gsync.
Not at all. There is a distinct difference between being capable of producing 4K signal at 120hz and being able to render 4K at 120 fps.
