26 mar 2013 · 64 ½ Data Plate Decoding. The consecutive number is part of the VIN which you found on you data plate and/or at your lh inner fender. It's a six digit number and placed behind the Engine-Code. It start's with 100001 at Dearborn at the 5th of march, 1964 and at the 13th of july at San Jose.
3 wrz 2014 · As I said, the K code engine became available in the Mustang on June 1st of 64. I have a stack of original publications from Ford, published during the regular 64 model year, that state this very clearly. There weren't very many of them, but, there were some 64 1/2 K codes.
6 paź 2010 · With the exception of the " K " code, the deciding factor to determine a 64 1/2 or 65 is simply the engine code. 641/2's have a U,F,D, or K code engine...65's have a T,C,A, or K code engines.
This meticulously restored Mustang is exactly how it would have left the factory in 1964.
