Upon replacing the battery however, even with the battery showing a decent charge level out of the gate, the Zune absolutely refuses to power on under power. Tried multiple different sources from USB straight off a PC, a 2+ amp wallwart, and the original wall wart that came with the Zune.

I tried syncing it to my computer but was unable to detect anything. I also tried both the two button reset (Back + Up) and the three button reset to no avail. Not sure if it is the battery that is having the issue but I heard that will require soldering.
