The truth is, the majority of Z Reviews' viewers already have their hearts dead-set on purchasing a certain product. Watching his videos won't sway them one way or the other, because his positive words only serve to validate their confirmation bias.
I came across Z-Reviews' review of the Phillips SHP9500 in which he calls them better than the Sennheiser HD600. I know thats his preference, but is this a widely-held opinion? Is my life a lie?

Z is interesting for his comments on the functionality of a device. Take his subjective audio valuations with a Mt Rushmore sized grain of salt. He praised a DAC that was measured and turned out to be absolute garbage.
The Fidelio X2HR's are currently on sale on Amazon for $115. They're not bass MACHINES, but the frequency response is 5Hz-40kHz, and the sound-stage is quite good. Z loves them, too — he put them on his wall. I'd also recommend the Sundaras or DT770's.
20 mar 2024 · Z Reviews came up yesterday. This guy tests DAC/AMPs, earphones and headphones that he uses on the DAC/AMPs he is testing. His reviews are accurate, and objective. His review of the FiiO BTR7 is dead on accurate and matches my experience with it.
