15 sty 2019 · The cause of this error is that you have your text editor set to UTF-8 BOM encoding. You need to set it to UTF-8 encoding and then save the file. This part of the tutorial is wrong: Add board type in the file: Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\board.txt, as below, and reopen the Arduino IDE:
