Great picture quality with good internet/streaming box/smart TV (the picture quality difference between our LG smart TV and a Roku smart TV is dramatic). Not a ton cheaper than many cable options now.
YouTube TV is a really good service. I love the guide, the unlimited DVR. However, if you use it on an Apple TV, your experience won’t be the same compared to a google TV. I’ve dealt with buggy guides, blank screens, and audio problems.
The cable co’s top package with every single channel and premium is $125, and with bundling my internet price drops. It’s seems crazy to be considering going back to cable, but I would be saving money, granted it’s like $20 a month.
It has more of the top cable channels vs. YTTV (it's only missing The Travel Channel, whereas YTTV is missing History, A&E, and Lifetime). It also has more of certain add-on channels, like AXS TV, though that's entirely personal preference.
So impressed with YouTube TV. Discussion. I am on the week trial of YouTube TV. I love it so much already. I have used other services like Hulu and sling, and the spy far is the best. I especially love that they sent me a survey to give feedback on that really shows that they care what their customers have to say.
I’ve tried most of the TV streaming services and I like YouTube TV but not for the quality (which is average) but for the feature set - like unlimited DVR. And I really like their guide. You won’t find any real difference in quality between Hulu and YouTube.
