The app is called RideYellow. I have not tried it yet, but I checked downtown from Crown Point a few weekends ago and Uber was $50, Yellow was $25. I will probably not use Uber anymore during surging times because I have paid $80 to get from OB to Crown Point right around bar close time too, before I knew about the taxi app.
