7 lut 2005 · The origianl HL500 prototype was a modified Husky frame in 1976 or 77. ProFab built frame kits based on the original frame. Geoff Morris Concepts in Australia builds replicas of these frames as well as swingarms and pipes.

27 paź 2013 · Hallman and Lundin started the HL500 project by striping the XT completely down and tossing everything but the motor. From there they went looking for a suitable lightweight frame for the bike. They decided on a Swedish Husqvarna motocross frame and modified it to fit the massive Yamaha thumper.
3 sie 2021 · They tuned the 30-hp four-stroke single to make 50+ horsepower, modified a Husqvarna frame to accept the big Yamaha powerplant, and outfitted the bike with a custom aluminum swingarm, Fox Air shocks, and a SimonS fork up front.
Yamaha HL500. This is a replica of an NVT frame in bronze-welded chrome-moly tube. Headstock bearings are 47mm and 55mm OD as per original. The kit is supplied with a heat treated aluminium swing arm, complete with bushes and shims, and a 20mm spindle slot.
