4 mar 2019 · I've recently download Dexed, a VSTi that emulates the legendary Yamaha DX7 synth. I see that it enables you to load banks of sounds ('cartridges' containing 32 sounds at a time). I want to access the original 32 presets that the DX7 had, and was wondering which of these 'cartridges' are the original presets?

Apologies if this is known by most here as it is a pretty old plugin, but I just stumbled across "Dexed" and am completely blown away. https://www.kvraudio.com/product/dexed-by-digital-suburban. For my money this sounds better than Arturia's DX7 emulation, and it's completely free.
Dexed is a free plugin FM synthesizer from Digital Suburban that is closely modeled on the Yamaha DX7. It is available in VST, AU, and LV2 formats for Windows, Mac or Linux and was released in 2015. The first thing you’ll probably notice is that the user interface on Dexed is somewhat terrifying to look at.
