Many of the major manufacturers like Yamaha, Evinrude/Johson and Mariner publish 2 stroke fuel oil mix charts in litres and fluid ounces. Many also have online search tools where you can enter your outboards make and model or serial number to get the right mix chart.

When mixing 2 stroke (2 cycle) fuel the mixture is expressing as a ratio of fuel to oil. For example to mix 50:1 you use 50 parts fuel to 1 part oil, which equals one litre of fuel to 20 millilitres of oil or 1 gallon of fuel to 2.56 fluid ounces of oil.
11 cze 2019 · Thanks in advance, I’m looking for some knowledgeable advice. I currently have an older two-stroke 8 hp Yamaha for our 8’ Caribe RIB. The motor has a placard that says 100 to 1. Them manufacturer probably recommended this very lean ratio to pass the EPA emissions tests of the day.
2 cze 2013 · 32:1 is a good ratio. This isn't 1990 anymore.....with the advancement in oil technology, metallurgy and tighter tolerances in parts, you can run different ratios with little to no effect. A poorly jetted bike will cause more damage then a 60:1 ratio. I do rings ever 50hrs and pistons every 100hrs.
29 wrz 2018 · I just picked up a 2006 yz85. Owner said he always runs 40:1 ratio, but the oil I have recommends to run at 50:1.
4 mar 2019 · I recently decided to do some research as to what ratio and premix oil to use in my 2018 yz250x. The past several years I have used Amsoil Dominator at 50:1. It’s hard to find anything concrete as to what the best ratio or premix is.
